We all must crawl before we’ve
There are no rainbows without rain,
There are no victories without
People are often afraid to fail for the very reason that they might be rejected if they do.
Simply avoiding fearsome situations does not remove discomfort.There is discomfort in changing behaviour and there
is discomfort in not changing .
However, discomfot connected with changing behaviour or overcoming fears has an ending.We
can be rejected by others and still not reject ourselves
.It is often because we reject ourselves that we get into emotional trouble.
Fear can give rise to feelings of Inferiority,Shyness,Anxiety,Guilt and Compulsions.
A taxi passenger tapped the driver on the shoulder to ask him a question. The
driver screamed, lost control of the car, nearly hit the bus, went up the footpath and stopped centimetres from a shop window. For a second everything went quiet in the cab, then the driver said “look mate,
don’t ever do that again. You scared the daylights out of me !”
The passenger apologized and said he didn’t realize that little tap could scare him so much. The driver replied “Sorry it’s not really your fault.
